Dear Friends and Faithful Prayer Family,
What a full season the Lord has given us. We are grateful beyond words for each of you who continue to pray, support, and encourage us as we serve here at His Mansion. We wanted to take a moment to share what God has been doing in our lives and in the ministry these past two months, and what lies just ahead.
MARCH: Good Friday Worship & Growing Bonds

One of the most meaningful moments of March was our Good Friday service. Rune had the privilege of preaching, and I had the honor of singing a song our Pastor Gabe had written for the first time. On Easter Sunday, we also sang together during the worship service. To stand side by side as husband and wife in worship on such a sacred day felt like a gift from God's hand. We are thankful for every opportunity to use what He has given us for His glory.
Despite losing some Men from the program that month. We have also been experiencing a deep and growing bond with the men in the program. Rune pours himself into this work daily, and it is beautiful to watch genuine relationships form. These men are not just residents and servant leaders; they are like family to us. God has been using Kane’s gifts to bring brightness and laughter, especially during mealtimes. It is a joy to share life together.
We would love your prayers for the recovering men: for freedom from addiction, for perseverance in the program, and for the Word of God to take deep root in their hearts.
APRIL: Many Blessings to Our Family
April brought its share of practical challenges. We experienced on-and-off car trouble that kept us on our toes. There were three issues that arose within a few weeks of one another. However, each time we were able to solve the issues at hand. But we are glad to share that the Lord was faithful through it all, and we came through the other side with our needs met. It is a reminder, even in the small things, that He is the one and only true Provider. We are so grateful.
We were blessed with baby showers; 3 to be exact! Such a tender expression of love from the women around us. One by our church, Reformation Bible Church, one at His Mansion for friends and family, and one remotely held by The Master’s Bible Church in Sedona, AZ. Needless to say, we have everything we could ever want for our sweet baby girl.
Kane had a wonderful first-ever sleepover with his friend Trent from church. Kane was so excited to be able to spend the night with his best friend! Trent brought over an entire train set and took most of the day to set it up with him. Later, they watched The Lord of the Rings, which was a first for Kane. He loved it.
MAY: A New Little Addition to Our Family & New Male Residents at HM
We learned to our surprise at our last OB appointment that although she was head down at week 34, at week 36, she had turned sideways. Jocelyn was given exercises to try to help her flip, but she has not flipped yet. If she does not move into a proper birthing position, then we will need a C-section. That C-section has already been scheduled on May 20th to prevent a potential emergency situation.
So, we are now just a week away from welcoming our baby girl into the world! Our hearts are full of anticipation, wonder, and yes, a little nervousness too.
Rune will have two weeks of paternal leave, and Rune’s Mom is coming to help support us today for a month.
We also have had 5 new men join the program this week (May 11th, 2026), so please pray for their entry into the program.
We would be so honored if you would hold us in prayer in the coming weeks.
Specifically, we ask for:
That Baby Girl Lekk will flip unless the Lord sees it is safer for her to come Earthside through the surgical route.
Safety and peace for mama and baby through the C-section and recovery.
Wisdom and strength for Rune as he supports his family while continuing to serve the men in the program.
A smooth and joyful transition for Kane as he becomes a big brother.
Rest, grace, and renewed health for the whole family in the postpartum season.
We know that every good and perfect gift comes from above, and this baby girl is no exception. We look forward to introducing her to you all in a future letter. Thank you for walking this road with us. Your prayers are not small things; they hold us in ways we will only fully understand in eternity. We love you and are grateful to be in this together.
In Christ,
Rune, Jocelyn, Kane & Little Baby Girl Lekkerkerker
